Incidentally, has anyone tried contacting Claremont directly about the possibility of, say, licensing the X-Men Forever title to another publishing house?

As the X-Men (title and characters) are property of Marvel, it's not possible (if I understand your question correctly).

As the X-Men (title and characters) are property of Marvel, it's not possible (if I understand your question correctly). I meant to say, Would it be possible for Marvel to license the business of printing the title to another publishing house, thereby alleviating Marvel of printing costs?
