I agree! This is by yet another guest artist, who shares the penciling duties with Steve Scott on issue #9. Looks really good.
Btw, it occurred to me that the first guy, Steve Scott, has already worked with Claremont before, on Exiles #97.

Man, those pages do look very nice! Ever since the Essentials, I have a great respect for B&W art, as it really shows how awesome a penciller can be 'just' inked.

I think some artists even pull off the un-inked look, like Salvador Larroca, Andy Park, Tim Seeley, and well, the new guy.
There's something about the penciled look that I like, a certain depth, it looks livelier.
